Many things happen slowly at the port of Albern. Ships pass the Danube, sometimes a freight train pulls up to pick up grain, sometimes large wind turbines are loaded. A modest transshipment point. At the end of the day, the harbor area is transformed – it becomes a free zone for all kinds of leisure activities. The project is an essayistic and musical homage to the outskirts of the city. “Albern” is supposed to be presented in a cinematic setting with Stefan Németh performing live.
